Tickled Tuesday

It's another group post from the Riley Design Team.  For my post today, I decided to showcase several small gifts you still have time to make for Christmas.  First is an ornament:
I bought this wooden round base at a craft show.  If your husband is handy, it should be easy to make.  I used regular ink, stamped it, and colored it.  Will look so cute on my tree.  The image is Riley in Wreath.

Second is a "to do" notebook!  I went to Staples and had small legal pads cut in half horizontally. I then used cardstock to cover, added some designer paper, die cut the words "to do", and used the image from Retro Folks called Happy Homemaker. I colored her with copics, and attached the image to a couple of die cuts.  If you use ribbon under your designer paper, you can even attach a small pen.  I carry one of these in my purse--as I am a compulsive list maker!  It keeps me on my toes!!

We give a few bottles of wine for Christmas gifts, so a wine label is a good thing to make.  I cut a piece of cardstock, rounded the corners, and folded the top down about 2 1/2".  I punched a hole in the center of this section.  Then--start decorating!  The Funny Bones sentiment that I used is one of my favorites.  It is called White Christmas.  Isn't this cute?!!!!!

Next on my list is a little Tic Tac container.  It has Riley as the Grinch on the front.  Inside is a box of Tic Tacs, plus the poem called Grinch Pills (readily accessible if you google it). I tried to find green Tic Tacs, but could not.  Guess the white will have to do!  If you know someone kinda grouchy, these Grinch Pills may be just the thing for them!

My last project is a tag.  I make all my Christmas cards and tags, so I had to include one here.  I have knitted 22 presents for Christmas, and I love to include this sentiment on a tag with them.  It is Handmade - Not Cheap.  It says "Just because it's handmade doesn't mean it was cheap". How true that is!!!

Hope you were inspired by some of these projects.  Be sure to check out the Riley blog to get more inspiration!
