Tutorial

I have a tutorial for you today--how to make your own colored twine.  This can be made to match whatever copic colors you are using.  Here are the instructions:


Supplies:
One ball of crochet thread. It comes in cream and white.  (I used Aunt Lydia's Crochet Thread)
Copics to match your designer paper (I used three--one red, two green)
Pencil
Scotch Tape

Instructions:
Tape one end of crochet thread at top of pencil. Wrap it closely all around the pencil. Tape again at the bottom of the pencil.



Using a copic that coordinates with your designer paper, mark all the way down first side of the pencil. Turn pencil around a little and use another copic to mark all the way down that side of the pencil. Again turn pencil and using another copic, mark all the way down that side of the pencil. Adjust your turns depending on how many colors you use.  So easy--and now you have twine to match your paper!
