Time to start thinking about Christmas cards--or at least winter and snowmen? If so, Jodie (at
Bugaboo) has the perfect new line for you today. For my card I used this adorable snowman sitting on a Christmas ornament. I used Bazzill cardstocks, coordinating papers from an old Christmas pad I had, some metallic paper that I matted the image in and paper pieced the ornament, added some Papertrey buttons, some twine, and colored my image with copics.
This card will be entered into challenges at:
The challenge is "pink and brown"
The challenge is to make a Christmas card with pink and/or purple. (My DP is a dark pink)
The challenge is to make a seasonal celebration for the 4th of July or Christmas.
The challenge is "Stars and Stripes". My designer paper is striped, and although it is hard to tell, the metaillic paper is made up of little stars.
This is a cute card - thanks for joining in my CHNC challenge 27 - hope to see you again soon. x
ReplyDeleteI kept looking to see how you did this. You were so precise in your cutting of the hologram type paper...wow. You're colors are off the wall to me which I think is so cool. I'm too bland and predictable...I love the chances you sometimes take in your colors. I need to be brave and take a lesson from you....haha
ReplyDeleteLove that little snowman - he's just great. Lovely card. Thank you for joining us at SSDS this week.
