Today's challenge was a really hard one for me. If you head over to The Crafty Hos
challenge blog, you'll find that the challenge today is to create a card or project WITHOUT using designer paper. I almost never do that! I really had to give this some thought, but then I ended up loving the card I made. I used Georgia Pacific and Papertrey cardstock, alternating layers between white and cream. I used four different cuttlebug folder, smudging a little ink around the edges of each. I used a
Bugaboo image from the Scarlette line, colored it with copics, added a little Twinery twine, used embellie jellie and Taylored Expressions twinkies--making this what I think is a very snazzy card! It will certainly go to some birthday lady!!
Oh, think of the money I could have saved if I would have never used (or bought!) designer paper.
This card will be entered into challenges at:
Challenge was to Bling It Up!
The challenge was to use a Romantic Style (whites, feminine, tiny patterns)
Challenge was to Emboss It!
Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has created.
That is a challenge indeed. Your creation looks great;)
