Oldie But Goodie Day!

This is an appropriate card for me to post today, as I am on the middle day of a three-day subbing assignment.  As you may know, I am a retired high school teacher--and I feed my stamping habit by occasional subbing days.  I sure am tired, though; don't know how you ladies work a five-day work week.

My card uses an image from called BB Skye.  I love it!  You may have noticed that I color most little girls with red hair.  That's because Liz, our 17-year old granddaughter who lives with us, has red hair (and brown eyes--beautiful combination!)  This little girl reminds me of Liz, who is a high school senior this year!  I'll have to admit, however, that she no longer looks like this!

My card uses SU and Papertrey cardstock, school paper from Big Lots, an SU punch, and the chalkboard and star embellishments also came from Big Lots.  If you don't shop there or Tuesday Mornings--you should start!

  1. Oh what a cutie Sandye!I love how you mimic your sweet Liz, what a great story to share with us. ;) I love all the elements of this card, the embellishments are just adorable and she is perfect in her colors (yes, I love that orange - heehee!). Have fun subbing!
