Sock Monkey
Remember when Jodie released the sock monkey line at http://www.bugaboostamps.com/, and I told you that our 17 year old was making a sock monkey. I promised to show it when it was finished. When I went to CHA, I found a sock monkey video and kit from http://www.whencreativityknocks.com/. I brought it home for Liz as a "treat". She was thrilled! She has plans to make several of these as presents for friends. (I should add also that we do not have a sewing machine, so Liz did all of the sewing by hand.) First off was this one--a birthday present for a friend whose birthday is on Valentine's Day. After Liz made the monkey, we designed the card to look like the "real" sock monkey. The card used the Bugaboo digital stamp "Sock Monkey Hug Heart". Everything was like usual--papertrey products and colored with copics. Here it is. It was mailed off last evening. Hope her friend thinks it is as cute as we do!
