SSS Challenge

A new SSS Sketch Challenge from Bugaboo.  I loved the simplicity of this card!  I used an image called Nuts About Fishing.  I love to use my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and paper piecing to make these "nuts" look more realistic.  A Stamping Up embossing folder was used.  The embellishments are from "Old Guys Rule"--a great line for men!

This card will be entered into a challenge at:

Bugaboo Challenge

Bugaboo has a  new challenge for you today--a recipe challenge.  The challenge blog will give you the exact details, so be sure and look--and play!  I decided to get an early start on Christmas (ha!), so I used an image called Christmas Boy Brat--Stocking.  I cut him out and placed him on a die cut and added some bling.

Oldie but Goodie Day

Today is Oldie but Goodie Day at Bugaboo.  I used an image called Stella Calendar Months--June.  I graduated college at age 41--and this image reminds me of what I must have looked like next to all those 22 year olds!

Riley Challenge

The Riley Challenge (as found on their blog) is to use twine on your card or project.  Doesn't get easier than this!  If you have Riley stamps, use them and join this challenge!  If you don't, you should get some, as they are so much fun to play with.  I used Sewing Sophie to create this card.

Sketch Challenge

On Bugaboo's challenge blog today, you'll find a new sketch--and a fun one at that!  I used an image called Bugaboo Angels--Get Well Soon.  The sentiment comes with the image.  I'm always pleased to have a get well card on hand, and I seem to need them often!

Photo Challenge

Bugaboo has a new photo challenge today.  Check it out on our challenge blog.  I was inspired by the rainbow--and was pleaed when I found this DP I had with the rainbow on it.  I used an image called Beary Bees--Fly.  I thought the heart button was the perfect complement for this card.

Critter Sketch Challenge

Be sure to head over to the Critter Sketch Challenge blog as there is a new color challenge.  You won't be able to view the colors very well from my creation--as the colors do not show up as they truly are!  The color scheme is shades of green (and my card DOES match the colors), and my card photographed more on the beige side.  I don't know why!  Here is a copy of the color scheme:

SpringDew600

I used a image from our sponsor--Paper Nest Dolls.  It is called Easter Avery.  Isn't that amazing how different the colors appear?  As I said, they really do match!

Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has created!  I know you'll be inspired.

Oldie But Goodie

My favorite day at Bugaboo--time to choose an older image to us.  I chose Skelekinz--Wings from a line that I love!  I think these blingy hearts set off the paper pretty well!

Humor Me Wednesday

Bugaboo celebrates Wednesdays with Humor Me days.  Go to our challenge blog and check out the different special days you can celebrate.  I decided on Incredible Kid Day.  I thought of Liz (our granddaughter) as I created this card.  Although she is approaching 21, I still think of her as quite an incredible kid.  She certainly has brought a lot of job to our lives!  I love these DPs together; along with the pink cardstock and ribbon, I thought the color combo was perfect.  You'll notice she's a redhead--just like our Liz!

Bugaboo's SSS Challenge

Please go to our challenge blog, and check out this new sketch.  It was such a fun one to play with.  I used my favorite color combo--pink and orange--and a Bugaboo image called Boo--Sitting Pretty.  I used Papertrey cardstock, some coordinating DPs, and a little bling.  Of course, the image was colored with copics.

Riley Challenge

I wanted to play along in Riley's new challenge (use the color combo is blue, green, and yellow) plus I wanted to make a St. Patrick's card--so I created a card using Clover Riley.  Be sure to check out the challenge on their blog--and play along.  You can win a really cute stamp!

Oldie but Goodie

I love this image I used today--Bugaboo Brat--Isabella Beach.  Along with this October Afternoon designer paper, Papertrey cardstocks and button, and my copics--it really makes me think of summer.  Since we had more snow yesterday, I NEED thoughts of summer!

Bugaboo New Challenge

Since it's the beginning of the month, Anything Goes at Bugaboo.  I'm sick of winter--and I want to start thinking of summer and summer celebrations.  That made me think of graduation.  I decided to do a graduation card.  I used an image called Deacon--Grad Diploma.  Makes a cute graduation card, doesn't it!  Love those pearls as his eyes:)
