Riley Challenge

The current Riley challenge is to create a card/project for the Guy in Your Life.  My husband has a birthday coming up, so I created a card for him.  I used the Riley image called King Riley which I paired up with some crown/star designer paper I had.  After I placed Riley on a tag and added some bling, I thought this card was worthy of the "King for a Day" sentiment I used on the inside.  While you look through Riley's images, be sure to check out the Retro men and women and the Funny Bones sentiments they just introduced.  They are really fun!

Oldie but Goodie

For today's Bugaboo Oldie but Goodie Day, I created a card using an image called Lil Kitty on a Limb.  I think this would be an appropriate card to use for someone going through tough times, as it could say "Hang in There" on the inside.

Humor Me Wednesday

Bugaboo is celebrating several holidays today (check it out on the challenge blog)--and one of them is National Penguin Awareness Day.  Last year we visited the Falklands in South America, and walked among several hundred penguins.  Because of that, I have a very fond spot for penguins in my heart.  They are so much fun to watch.  I used an image called Poppi Penguin--Lemonade.

See if you can't find some holiday to celebrate!

New Bugaboo Challenge

Even after that exciting week of activities that Bugaboo had for you, there's still another challenge!  On the challenge blog, you'll see that this week's challnege is a bingo challenge.  I used the row that was twine, ribbon, and "P" (for me the P was for pink).  The image is Ava Heart.  I love this pink and gray color combo!

Another Oldie but Goodie Day at Bugaboo--a perfect time for me to use an image from my favorite line--Gus Tidbits--At My Age.  I just think this Gus image is a hoot--perfect for the birthday challenge to make a humorous card.

Bugaboo's Birthday Hop

Amazing, isn't it, that Bugaboo is three years old!  Time sure does go by quickly.  As you probably already know, we are celebrating with a blog hop.  Prizes are wonderful!!!!!  I know I would forget somelthing if I try to tell you all of them, so your best bet is to go to the challenge blog and see for yourself!  That will be the last stop on your hop, so you will get a chance to check it out.  You should have arrived from Sammibug's blog (link to the right) and should head to Stephanie's blog (link also to the right) when finished.  Be sure to leave comments at each spot along with way.  One lucky commenter will win this image from me. Enjoy!

For my "Anything Birthday Challenge" , I used papertrey cardstock, designer papers, an image called , copics, ribbon, and some bling.  Be sure to check in all week long, as we have lots of fun, lots of challenges, lots of prizes!  You won't want to miss out.

Riley Challenge

Check out the Riley blog.  The new challenge is to "Make It Sparkle"--Use Glittler, Bling, or Something Shiny on Your Card.  This is right up my alley, as you know I love sparkly, shiny, glittery bling.  I used Fortune Teller Riley, and added lots of shine!  I used hot pink glittery paper, some rhinestones, and beautiful flowered ribbon.  I think Riley can tell that someone has a birthday coming!  I love these Riley challenges, as I LOVE using my Riley stamps.  Play along!

Oldie but Goodie Day

I love these days at Bugaboo--and I especially love using these Gus stamps!  This one is called Gus Golf.  I used Papertrey cardstocks, copics, designer paper, and an "Old Guys Rule'' sticker (perfect for Gus!)

New Release

Liz needed a wedding card for a college friend, so Jodie's new release at Bugaboo was perfect timing for me!  I used Papertrey cardstocks, a Stampin' Up impression plage, gold cardstock, a Congratulations sentiment, and colored this sweet image with copics.  After adding a little bling, we thought it was ready to go!

With two big holidays out of the way, it's now time to think of the next "card" holiday.  For me, that's Valentine's Day.  I created a card using a Deacon image called Deacon XO.  I love these images; be sure to check out the store, as there are a lot of fantastic images for Valentine's Day.  I used Papertrey cardstocks, DPs, copics, and a little bling.  Easy card to throw together!

Humor Me Challenge

Bugaboo's new Humor Me challenge today (as found on the challenge blog) is to select a current celebration from the list--and create a card/project.  I'm celebrating the Festival of Sleep!  I used an image called Boo--Sleeping Star, Papertrey cardstocks and ribbon, a crocheted flower sent to me from a friend, and some pearls.  I may send this card to Liz--because as a college student on school break, she sure can sleep during the day!  (She does stay up most of the night, hwoever) LOL!

Play along with us.  This is a fun challenge.

This card will be entered into a challenge at:
