Bugaboo New Release

What a cute line of images Jodie (from Bugaboo) is releasing today!  These sign its can be used for any occasion, just by adding an appropriate sentiment.  For my card, I used Papertrey cardstock, DP from one of Taylored Expressions monthly kits which I paper pierced inside the sign it, yellow star paper, a Papertrey star die cut with a little bling inside, and colored my image with copics.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

This card will be entered into a challenge at:
The challenge is Variegated Colors.

Special Challenge

Oldie but Goodie

We know lots of golfers--and I love using this Bugaboo Nuts About Sports--Golf image.  If you paper piece the peanut shell and run it through the Cuttlebug dot embossing folder, it looks just like a peanut shell!  The sentiment is from AMuse.

Tutorial

Today I am the lucky Bugaboo DT member who gets to share a tutorial with you.  I pondered on this--and finally came up with a tea package that I saw on Papertrey Ink.  Here are the directions:

TEA BAG HOLDER

Cardstock
Designer Paper
Nestabilities Dies
Ribbon
Score-Pal
Bugaboo Image
Decorative Punch

Cut a piece of cardstock 5" by 11".  Score it (on the 5" side"  at 3 1/2" and 3 3/4".  Turn it around and score the other end at 3 1/2" and 3 3/4". Fold the left side in on the scores, as well as the right side in on the scores.  On the right hand back of the cardstock, decorate with cardstock, designer papers, and image.  Wrap ribbon from the left hand inside to the right hand edge and around to the back.  Glue down.  Decorate the inside middle and right hand section with designer paper and a large nestabilities die cut in half.  Glue these down with the top left open to insert a teabag.  Use a smaller nestabilities die to cut an opening so that the image shows through.  Decorate the front.

And here is the finished product!

Critter Sketch Challenge

Today's challenge at the Critter Sketch Challenge is a sketch challenge--and it was a great one to use!  Be sure to head over there and check it out.  I used a new stamp and die set of mine from Papertrey Ink.  What a great masculine card this makes!  The sentiment says "Love is the key that opens the heart".  I may save this for an anniversary card for my hubby!

New Bugaboo Challenge

Bugaboo's challenge today is a sketch challenge.  Go to the challenge blog and read all about it!  I used the image called Valentine Baskets--Kitty, and since my last kitty as a sweet little Siamese, I colored this one to look like a Siamese.  Even though this is technically a valentine image, it could certainly be used for a birthday card!

Oldie but Goodie

For my Bugaboo oldie but goodie card today, I made a get well card.  It seems that I never have one of these cards when I need it!  I used an image called Sassy Gal Nurse 2.  The sentiment and tab are both from Papertrey Ink.

I'll be prepared now the next time I need a get well card!

Anything But a Card

I'm the chosen Bugaboo DT member who gets to create "Anything But a Card"--and I chose to create a calendar/reminder book.  These are wonderful to use for birthday/anniversary reminders, but I use mine as a blog post reminder.  It keeps me "on my toes" with my Bugaboo posts!  The images I used are from the Margaret--Calendar line, and the one I created the link for is January. I have just shown you the first page, but there (of course) is a page for each month with a corresponding Margaret image.  This book makes a lovely gift for someone along with a pack of birthday cards!

Friday Freebie

Since my husband and I have raised a granddaughter, I'm always looking for those teenage girl stamps--and finally Jodie (at Bugaboo) has created one!  Hopefully there will be a teenage boy also:)  Of course I had to color the hair red--and this girl has attitude (as all redheads do!)

Be check to check out what the rest of the DT has created--and the rest of this release.  It should be great.
