Friday Freebie

Yay!  Another boy image from Jodie at Bugaboo.  As I've said before, I really have problems with masculine cards--and especially teenage masculine cards.  This should help!  For my card, I used Papertrey cardstocks, DP, buttons, twine, nestabilities, a Papertrey die, SU punch, and an unknown sentiment (which goes perfectly with this teenager and his car keys!)

Special Challenge

Some of the DT members at Bugaboo are participating in a challenge with ABC Christmas Challenges.  Check their blog for the details.  We were to create following these guidelines:  F is for Fuzzy or Furry Animal/and/or a Bird.  I decided to use a penguin--Poppi--Christmas Stocking which I colored with copics,  I made a Holiday Planner notebook, using SU cardstocks, DP, some Papertrey sentiments, a little bling, ribbon, and the notebook template from Papertrey Ink.  I got mini legal pads cut in half to use isnide.

Bugaboo New Release

Jodie (at Bugaboo) has a fantastic new "boy" image for you today!  I can't wait to see the rest of this line--as I always have a hard time with cards for teenaged boys.  These should be perfect!  For my card, I used Papertrey cardstocks, some guitar DP, some "shiny" paper, copics, SU oval punches, and a little bling.

Critter Sketch Challenge

Okay--so I'm a little behind!  I made this card for St. Patrick's Day--and then realized that it would be over by the time I posted it.  Oh well--I'm ahead for next year.  This card is for the Critter Sketch Challenge which is a sketch challenge.  I love this sketch!  I used some green SU cardstock, green DP, a Bugaboo image which I colored with copics, some gold ribbon, and a Papertrey Ink sentiment.  I also added a little bling.

New Stella Says Sketch

That's right!  There's a new sketch challenge at Bugaboo.  Sketch challenges sometimes present problems for me, but not this one!  It is to create a tent card--and I enjoy making those!  I used Papertrey and SU cardstocks, some birthday DP, buttons, twine, and a Bugaboo image called BBrat Balloon Sitter merged with Side Chair.  These two make a great combined image!

Bugaboo Challenge

Bugaboo has an easy challenge for today!  When you check it out on our Challenge Blog, you'll see that the challenge is to create a card/project with humor.  This is an easy thing to do with the Gus and/or Stella images.  I used an image called Stella Nursing--ICU.  I used Papertrey cardstocks, October Afternoon DP, red ribbon, a SU scallop punch, copics, and added a little bling.  Great humorous "get well" card.

Bugaboo New Release

What a cute image Jodie has created for Bugaboo today!  This image makes such a sweet birthday card.  I created an easel card, using Papertrey cardstock and DP from a Taylored Expressions monthly kit.  The image was colored with copics, some ribbon and bling were added, and I used a Papertrey sentiment.  Easy peasy!

Critter Sketch Challenge

Fun new challenge on the Critter Sketch Challenge blog.  Be sure to check it out.  It's as an one, too, as you are to create a card/project using buttons.  I immediately knew that I wanted to use my Papertrey Ink Button Bits stamp set, along with some adorable tree paper from one of the Taylored Expressions monthly kits.  I used Papertrey cardstocks, a scrap of ribbon I had, and nestabilities dies.

Today's challenge at Bugaboo is Anything Goes.  For my card, I used Papertrey cardstocks, a little twine, stiped and dotted DP, a computer-generated sentiment punched with an SU punch, and added a little bling.  I colored the image with copics.  As forgetful as I'm getting, I can always use a card like this!

Special Challenge

Oldie but Goodie Day

It's Oldie but Goodie Day at Bugaboo.  Since I love all things "West" (such as Colorado, mountains, log houses, ski slopes, pine trees, etc.), it's no wonder I fell in love with this moose image from Jodie.  I used Papertrey and SU cardstock, pine tree DP, an AMuse sentiment, and colored my image with copics.  Great Western feel to this card!
