Oldie but Goodie Day

Since it is Thursday, it is Oldie but Goodie at Bugaboo.  For my card, I used one of Jodie's adorable Sewing Bears images, along with Papertrey cardstocks.  I thought it looked perfect with the ledger paper and red polka dots.  I added a piece of notebook paper behind the image.  I used a Papertrey button, some twine, a Stamping Bella sentiment, and colored my image with copics.

Bugaboo--New Release

Yay for Jodie (at Bugaboo)!  She is releasing more Gus stamps for us today.  I know we will love them:)  For my card today, I used one of the new Gus fishing stamps.  I love the sentiment which says "give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day...teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat drinking beer all day!"  How true!!!  I made a crisscross card, following the isntructions in the SU resource section.  I used Papertrey cardstock, a scrap of fish DP I had, some brown grosgrain ribbon, a fish sticker, a beer eyelet, and colored my image with copics.  I love these Gus images!

This card will be entered into challenges at:

Wacky Wednesday

Bugaboo has a new Wacky Wednesday challenge!  It is to create a card/project with no designer paper plus use three buttons.  Fun--and easy!  Although I LOVE designer paper, I do enjoy occasionally creating a card without using it.  I used a Bugaboo wedding image, SU cardstocks, a scrap of metallic silver paper I had that I embossed with the swirls folder, added a little red glittery ribbon plus three buttons, and colored my image with copics.  There is a little Sakura glitter pen on the image.  I'm ready for the next wedding I get an invitation to!

New Release

It's a new release day at Bugaboo--and I can't wait!  Jodie is releasing some new Stella images.  I LOVE STELLA!  Since I am also a coffee drinker, the one I used is definitely a keeper!  The image (plus the sentiment--"touch my coffee and I'll go Darth Vader on you!") are a perfect addition to my image file.  For my card, I used Papertrey cardstock (plus some inexpensive cardstock from Michaels for matting), Martha Stewart polka dot paper, a SU scalloped circle punch for the sentiment, three pearls, and colored my image with copics.  I did a little paper piecing, and cut out an addition lid so that it stands out from the cup.  I can't wait to get the rest of these images:)

Bugaboo New Release

Oh--how cute is this!  Jodie (at Bugaboo) hasnew items to release today--and are they ever cute!  The one I used is a digi kit with a chameleon image; the other is a digi kit with a graduation bear.  These kits include images, background paper, borders, sentiments--just everything you might need to create!  For my card, I used both of the background papers that Jodie created, plus the round image.  Sure makes it easy to create!
My card uses Papertrey cardstocks and unknown gingham ribbon.  I colored my image with copics, and added one piece of bling to this easel card.

Anything But a Card!

On Mondays, someone gets chosen at Bugaboo to share "anything but a card".  I was chosen today!  For my project, I am featuring two small gifts to share with children.  If Liz were already teaching, these would make great end of the year gifts for her students:)  My LSS sales these clear tubes to fill with candy--and just add an image on top.  I used a dragon for boys--and a little princess for girls.  Images were colored with copics and mounted on a SU circle punch out.
