Critter Challenge!

Be sure to check out the challenge blog for Critter Challenges.  We have two wonderful sponsors this month.  They both have great images; unfortunately I had finished my card before I found out about the sponsors.  I did not use any of the wonderful images from them!  The challenge for you today os tp ise two different punches or dies!  If  you are like me, this is an easy thing to do.  With all of my punches and nestabilities, the only hard part is deciding which ones to us.  For my card, I chose Papertrey cardstocks, Basic Gray designer papers, a scrap of ribbon I found, a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp and sentiment which I colored with copics, added a little bling, and used two different nestabilities plus a SU punch.  I love getting a masculine card finished because they are difficult for me!

Crafty Hos Challenge!

Okay--I admit it!  I messed up!  I'm not good with multiple point challenges!  Today we have a sketch to work with, plus make a card in pastel pink and green--no problem.  I used the sketch to make this cute little girl sock monkey card.  I followed the rules!  However, I also was supposed to use a Heartsong image on this card.  Whoops!  I used a Bugaboo image. To make up for my error, I made another card using the Heartsong image, Sleeping Kitty.  I'm sharing both cards!  For my Bugaboo card, I used SU cardstock, a scrap of DP I found, along with scraps of green ribbon.  I colored my image with copics and mounted it on a scalloped nestability.  I added an unknown sentiment stamp along with a little bling!

This card will be entered into a challenge at:
The challenge is "Anything goes".

For the card using the Heartsong image, I used SU cardstocks, deckle scissors, scraps of Octoberr Afternoon DP that I glued together in a quilt pattern, and then stitched around, colored the image with copics, computer generated a sentiment, and added a little bling!  I love this image:)

If you play along (and please do!), be sure to go over to the challenge blog, read all of the rules, and follow them all (unlike me!)  Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has created.

Our challenge at Bugaboo today is to create a card/project with four layers!  Be sure to go over to the challenge blog, and check it out.   I tend to use a lot of designer paper, so this wasn't hard for me!  I used one of Jodie's dinosaur images, found some adorable designer paper to coordinate with it, mounted my image on Papertrey cardstock, added a little more Papertrey polka DP, computer generated a sentiment, mounted it on SU punches, colored the image with copics, and added a little bling.  Perfect card for a little guy!

This card will be entered into a challenge at:

Friday Freebie Day at Bugaboo

Jodie, at Bugaboo, is busy working on her new store.  Never fear, however!  She still has a wonderful new freebie for you today--there will just not be a release to go with it.  I love this one!  It is called Scene It--Ladybug.  I found some wonderful Martha Stewart designer paper with blue/brown ladybugs, and I chose to use it with this image.  I also used some Papertrey designer paper and cardstock, as well as some Bazill cardstock.  I found a scrap of ribbon that matched, colred my image with copics, added some bling, and created a computer-generated sentiment.  Since my ladybugs are blue and brown, the sentiment says "dare to be different".

This card will be entered into a challenge at:
The challenge is cards that bring on a smile.  I think blue ladybugs do!

Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has created.  Without problems, Jodie should have the freebie in the store by noon EST.
